AdGrabber is a free personal project by Prince Pal. It has no accounts, no ads, and does not sell data. This page explains, in plain words, what is collected and what is not.
The debug info you paste
The YouTube debug info you paste is read only in your browser to find the ad's video ID. It is never uploaded or stored by us.
Ad link log
Each time you click Find, we record an anonymous entry so we can see how the tool is used:
- the time,
- the ad's public YouTube video ID (if one was found),
- whether it worked, and whether copying to the clipboard worked,
- your browser's time zone (for example
Asia/Kolkata), which shows the region only.
We do not record your IP address, the video you were watching, cookies, or any ID that could identify you or your device. Entries are stored in a private Google Sheet (Google processes it for us) and deleted after 24 months.
Analytics
We use these tools to understand visits and improve the page:
- Google Analytics (Google): page visits, how people arrived, and rough location.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft): heatmaps and session recordings of how the page is used.
- Hotjar (Hotjar Ltd.): heatmaps and session recordings.
These tools may set cookies and see your IP address. Session recordings capture clicks and scrolling on this page. The box where you paste debug info is masked, so these tools never record what you paste.
In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask before turning them on. Until you accept, Google Analytics and Clarity run without cookies and Hotjar does not load.
Everywhere else they run by default. You can turn them off at any time with Privacy settings, by blocking cookies in your browser, or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Your choice is saved in your browser so we do not ask again. It stores only "accepted" or "declined".
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act, Brazil's LGPD or California's CCPA), you can ask what data relates to you, ask for it to be deleted, withdraw consent, or complain to your data protection authority. Because the ad link log is anonymous we usually cannot match it to you, but we will help where we can. Data held by Google, Microsoft or Hotjar can also be managed through their own privacy tools.

Children
AdGrabber is not directed at children under 13 (or under 18 in India) and does not knowingly collect data about them.
